Complex macroscopic, histological, and electron microscopic examination of the healing of a full-thickness skin wound in laboratory rats

A model was developed, on the basis of which features healing a full-thickness skin wound were studied in laboratory rats using macro-, micro- and ultramicroscopic methods. It found that during this process, two borders are formed surface ‒ one edge dermis second epidermis. is shown granulation tissue can be not only due to restructuring fibrin, but also reorganization subcutaneous tissue. hypothesized contraction occurs collagen fibrils by myofibroblasts, retraction fibers cytoplasm these cells. Attention drawn restoration elastic layer as an essential component regenerate. The reasons for appearance longitudinal elongated shape orientation along sagittal line scar, remains life at site former damage, explained.
